Who has this specific model?
Do you think it is loud enough? How is your experience with downloading more calls?

thanks

I have the Wildfire 2 which is similar in looks and size of speaker. It called in a couple yotes on the other side of a ridge over a mile away.

Good enough for me.

I have the call.
Downloading sounds is pretty straightforward.
The call itself felt pretty cheaply made, and required a paintjob to look right.
Have not called anything in with it yet.

Did you get it and have you used it?  I have one on order. Planning to use it in the weeks and months to come.

Used an Inferno to call in a couple of bear's and the cat in my avatar. However I found the range to be limited and the remote was unreliable. I liked the sounds and ease of upload so went with the Banshee and have been very happy with it.

I'm not happy with the volume of mine. I am going to add a external speaker to it soon to help.
its easy to use, download sounds, etc.
Compared to the lucky duck revolt my dad just got, it seems like a childs play toy, but its 1/2 the price of the revolt.

I would probably/will probably, look for a used banshee or something higher end.
if your calling in tighter terrain, or not hugely into calling yet, and just want to try out an e-caller, its great.

I am just getting into calling.  For now it will mostly be in tighter terrain where I will want to keep the volume down to minimize disturbing the neighbors.

I will look into getting an external speaker for it though.

Try it before you spend the money on the external. 75% of the time out in the desert I'm good with the stock setup.
I would look into powering it with rechargeable batteries as well. I hear they make a big difference. I've got a set on order for mine now.

Yeah I will definitely try it for a while as-is before I buy additional features.

In my experience rechargeable batteries generally have less power than non-rechargeable.  Which batteries did you order?

I cant remember what I ordered now, and cant access the website from this computer to look.
it was an 8 pack, with good reviews. that I all remember lol.

I think typically they have lower power, but its more stable throughout the charged life. People have weird things happen when they start getting low on power, or it gets really cold. I know that mine has a super annoying clicking noise with every remote button pressed if the batteries are low, or as I found out last weekend, they get to cold.
