1st time muzzy

This might be a stupid question but I’m a bow hunter . My best friend drew a multi season tag for elk and I’m wondering if they are still answering to calls in October. Like I said I’m clueless he thinks probably not. Can you guys help us out?  Thanks

Depends on your area.  We had some vocal bulls last muzzy season where I hunt.

Last year opening weekend for muzzy they were still vocal but not like the week before so just use cow calls
