Well I'm at my duck spot, and it's still dark  :chuckle:

Good luck all
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Obviously zeroing the rifle in the dark.  What's the problem?  :chuckle:

So you see a predator in pretty much any farmers field in Kittitas county I would be stopping and asking to shoot it. They are probably going to ask why the hell you didn’t shoot it yet. If it’s down too low you may have to use the muzzleloader or bow though

Possibly..I look straight across at Jupiter, with the duc and dosi on each side..I know the power line cut is pretty popular for headlight hunting...I also know a fare share of anti hunter's hit the woods opening weekend to do their best to spook game..

I blew off the opener and went to the kids soccer matches.  Same thing tomorrow.  One of these days I'll get back out there, hopefully when there's fewer hunters on the roads and in the woods.

Not a lot of new action on the board today.  Maybe everybody is field dressing their bucks right now.   :dunno:

I had an excellent day of mushroom harvesting. Things were everywhere.
And I saw several grouse. Actually missed both my shots.
Deer on the hand, were absent.

Out with my 3 boys trying to get my youngest ,who has finally taken an interest, his first buck. We saw 15 deer yesterday including 3 small bucks. The first attempt to close the gap on a small forkie & get a shot was to no avail but after many miles hiked & tons of ground glassed, big brother’s idea to walk a long ridge on the way out through a unit that can only be seen by doing so paid off. We found a 6” spike feeding with 2 doe’s & after some waiting for him to clear some brush for a shot, Trey was able to take him with one clean shot from 180 yards. It was a great day & we worked really hard to make it happen. Now it’s on to looking for the bigger bucks for the two older boys. Good luck everyone! 8)

  Nice going!  Looks like a little BT but the deer numbers you saw makes me think otherwise.  Congrats to Trey!
