Cool Video!  Was that recently?

Me and my son were just researching today where we want to go here in Eastern Washington.

That's awesome!  I've always heard that a raccoon can drown a dog if they get in the water.  Doesn't appear to be a concern in the video, those dogs handled him pretty well.   Is that just folklore?

It’s a big deal
Coons can float like us and use their hands to fight. A dog has to paddle to keep floating.
Once a coon gets in water deep enough he can fight the dogs easy. From there the coon can crawl up on dogs head and use it’s weighed to drowned them.
I have seen it happen one time and the dog got out from under it.
They are crafty critters
