This thread makes me sad because it reminds me I have to get loading for NV prairie dogs :'(  2,000 rounds on a single stage press just sucks!

Ugh, I feel your pain.  Not sure if you have any interest in this but Nosler has had some smoking deals on ammo lately.  They had 223 ammo loaded with 40gr Ballistic Tips, 400 count in MTM ammo boxes, for $99 and free shipping a couple weeks ago.  Didn't really need it, but I couldn't pass it up so I bought a couple boxes of it, he11, by the time you figure your time and component cost, can't hardly load it for that price.  Probably should have bought more than I did.

I'd be buying a progressive press for that many rounds, if I didn't already have one. It's a good excuse to buy one, but makes logical sense too. At least a Dillon 550, if not something faster.

Had a 650 with all the bells and whistles but it was too tall for my reloading bench. I needed a ceiling that's a foot taller. Honestly it doesnt bother me too bad on the T7. I do almost no pistol shooting and little high volume AR stuff.  The time and effort for the prairie dog weekend is maddening but I'm a cheap ass and refuse to buy loaded ammo  :chuckle:
