Merwin has less fish, bigger fish, and 10 fish limit. Yale has more fish, smaller fish, and 15 fish limit.

I'm confused on the Kokanee regs, am I missing something?  For land locked salmon you'd follow trout rules (5 fish limit) but Kokanee, even though it's a land locked salmon is considered a game fish & has a 10 fish limit, correct?  Where does the 15 fish limit for Yale enter in?  I can't find it in the regs.

Yale used to be a 15 koke limit +5 trout. They changed it last year or the year before last to 10+5 trout same as Merwin which is 10 kokes five +5 trout

In each lake rules it will say if landlocked salmon rules apply, it they do the below is true.

Landlocked Salmon Rules Where landlocked salmon rules apply, no sport catch record card is required for salmon, the season, daily limit, and size and gear restriction rules for salmon are the same as trout rules. The angler's combined catch of landlocked salmon and trout applies toward the trout limit.

for Merwin reservoir, it is landlacked salmon rules which are above.

ALL GAME FISH Statewide min. size/daily limit. SALMON Year-round Landlocked salmon rules.

I’m sorry apparently I was going off old info. Yale is also 10 fish limit. And I believe once you catch 10 at Merwin you can’t go to yale for another 10.

I'm confused as well..  It states for Landlocked Salmon rules in affect, the daily limit is the same as trout.  If that is the case, Merwin has the landlocked salmon rule in affect.  The trout daily limit is 5.  As I read it, Kokanee daily limit is 10.  But that would only be the case if the land locked salmon rules WERE NOT in affect.

Am I wrong here?  it is confusing.  As I see it, you can only go by the 10 Kokanee limit in lakes were the land locked salmon rules are not in affect.  Correct?

Any recent report after all this rain we have been having? Curious if the water has gotten real cloudy? It was good a few weeks ago.

I saw a report that a guy did well a couple days ago. Top to about 18 ft he said they picked up 30.
