And probably my favorite day.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

Some really cool, and in some cases vintage photos.
It's sad to think the good old days of salmon & steelhead fishing are probably behind us.

Pre slide.

Deer Creek?

Blue Creek

Pre slide we watched a huge boulder come down of the bank and center punch a big inboard.
We plucked the guys out of the water with our boat.

Seems like yesterday.

Green Herring for all!!

Early 80's casting to schools of summer-runs w/little sand shrimp.

Got springers?

Above the boats.

My fishing buddy. No shortage of getting it done in that 10 year old.

Lil' sister rocking the pink.

Hammer time.

I lost a bet on this kiss.

Summer fun.

I'll keep my eye on this thread.

Sportsman Show several years ago, my son caught one of the big ones in the pond with the bamboo stick and single egg hook. You should have seen the volunteers scramble when he started yelling “I got a big one, I got a big one”. :chuckle:

My first ‘real’ fish. Klamath River back in the day. And a nice Butt a few years later.

Watching there passion unfold is what life is all about . Let every fish go and everytime my oldest would say Get bigger fish so I can catch ya again  made me laugh everytime

Love it! Nothing like kiddos catching a bunch of fish

Totally agree !

Nice cooler full. Best day salmon fishing I have ever had. 3 people 3 rods. 5 coho each in a matter of 2-3 hours.
And one of my bigger coho from some years back, still miss the hair, haha.
