Smoker build #2
« on: February 16, 2020, 03:48:43 PM »
Haven't seen a smoker build thread for a while, i'm more of a lurker than a poster but thought I would share some pics of smoker number 2.  I built my first one in 2015, had some material laying around for a while and figured I needed a good February project.  Pictures are start to finish, last picture includes the my original one.

Got them both going today, jerky in the original and bacon and ribs in the new one to break it in right.

I'm happy to share dimensions and a materials list if anyone is interested.  Since they are all wood I keep the temps below 225 and dont use it for fish, might have to build a third if i decide i want to start smoking fish in large quantities.....

ps....ribs didnt suck, had some friends up for dinner and there were very few leftovers....
