Can you imagine what this "coalition" will dream up?
« on: February 21, 2020, 10:52:24 AM »
From the Firearms Policy Coalition:

"SB 6288 would create a state “Office of Firearms Violence” to “reduce firearms.”

This is by far one of the most Machiavellian bills I’ve ever seen make it to the floor.

The office will be in charge of doling out millions in taxpayer dollars to churn out politically motivated propaganda, doctored statistics, and junk science. Furthermore, this new “Big Brother” government agency will likely be funding politically motivated policies and individuals with a clear bias.

Of course, all amendments that might have increased accountability and oversight of this gun control slush fund were rejected by senate democrats.

HB 2623 would prohibit people convicted of some misdemeanors from owning or possessing a firearm. The prohibitors would now include unlawful aiming or pointing (a different law than brandishing), unlawful discharge of a firearm, and animal cruelty in the second degree.

HB 2622 gives our state “red flag” gun confiscation law a steroid boost in what’s already a one-sided, “kangaroo” court process where you’re guilty until proven innocent under the lowest standard possible.

Lastly, let’s address some common misconceptions about this deadline we just passed. I’ve seen quite a few social media posts and even news articles stating certain bills are “dead.” That’s not exactly true.

At any point until sine die the majority party can make a “motion to suspend the rules,” to vote on bills. Although it’s rare, it has happened before."

Why this thread or ones like it aren't at the top of the forum every day makes me wonder how many really support 2A rights?
They will take your hard earned money and give it to a "coalition" that will work actively every day to suppress and ultimately end your right to buy, use, possess, or transport a firearm for your own protection.

They will be as honest as the Wolf Commission, and propose solely unconstitutional laws.

Basically what Enslee and Ferguson are modeling themselves after is the pre WWII Nazi party minus the brown shirts.

The true answer is the enforce the Federal Laws on the books..but that is not what they are after.  They want absolute power and power cannot be had without taking away what secures freedom.

They keep on pushing, and pushing.  One day they will push a little to hard, and hopefully the sleeping giant will wake up and take their country back.
