Cape Cod fisher people I need your help!
« on: February 21, 2020, 02:02:18 PM »
My father in law has a house at the cape and we are fortunate enough to frequently visit. I'm taking my 3.5 year old fishing next week in Truro. Help me look like a fishing God. I will be surf casting one day and fishing in the Wellfleet Harbor another. What are my best options for bait in both areas?

Also, do you know of any sweet spots in northern cape cod?

Thanks in advance! 🎣ukdistance.com

Can’t help you with direct knowledge, but I would look up some local tackle stores and ask them. They can usually point you in the right direction.

I'm no expert but I did live (and fish) in Boston for a couple years while in grad school.  I think you're way too early.  Stripers and blues don't start showing up until late April or even early May.  Maybe some bottom fish might be available?    Good luck.
