Worth of Ruger Blackhawk
« on: February 21, 2020, 08:21:01 PM »
Pistol guys I have the above pistol in .357 caliber. Serial number tells me it's a '71 manufacture. Bluing is slightly worn from riding in a holster. Cylinder has light wear ring. I've had the gun for over thirty years and it sees little use so I'm considering selling it but have zero idea of its worth.

Thanks

If I didn't already have 2 I'd grab it in a heart beat. You shouldn't have any trouble getting rid of it.

GunBroker -> Advanced search -> Completed items -> sort by bids descending is a handy tool for seeing where transactions actually occured.

Being far from an expert I would say the gun is in 90 to 95% condition. I would imagine those prices are for a safe qween. It's a cool gun but I bet in the years I've had it I might have shot maybe two boxes of ammo thru it and I could use the money for other things. I have other pistols that actually do get used.

Thanks

You can buy 3 screws in good shape off gunbroker in 357 for 400-450 everyday.
