Iron will broad heads
« on: March 14, 2020, 07:32:05 PM »
Has anyone put these broad heads to the test. Really looking to try these and am curious to as if anyone has anything to say about them. They look solid! The fact that they have lifetime guarantee says alot. Any Input would be great, thanks all! Looking to find a solid elk/mule deer broad head.
Feel free to PM me as well.

There are some youtube video reviews on them.  Born and Raised outdoors did a review of about 30 different broadheads that I thought was pretty good that included the Iron Will heads.

They look a lot like bloodsport gravedigger cut on contact  without the mechanical aspect

I have been using them for 2 years.  They fly great and are easy to touch up.  Unfortunately I’m not very good and only put one thru an animal but complete pass thru and stuck in the dirt after breaking a rib on entrance and it was still sharp enough to shave and I just touched it up and put it back in the quiver.  I also picked up their K1 knife which is the same D2 tool steel and after a bear and 2 deer it was still plenty sharp.

I just can't justify the cost for myself.

They are cheaper in the long run than what I was doing before with way less quality...also much much sharper..fly awesome

I wish I could give a better report on the killing portion...I've only been around half a dozen or so experiences with them an so far it's been mixed...I have faith in them tho and blaming the shooter(myself) for the couple lost animals

I hear ya. I've been through several cheap versions of broadheads. They brake or become super dull. As much shooting as I do I try to resharpen other brands but still find myself going back each season to buy a brand new set that fly's good with my arrow/setup. It's tough. I really want to try these iron Will's out. My buddy swears buy them. He has had some go dull after a few years and resharning them and also broke one. His fault not the broadheads but the company sent him a brand new set no questions asked. Great customer support. I'm going to give them a try this year and will post my own findings when I get them and start target shooting them here soon before the elk and deer season start here in 6+ months. Can't wait. Been out shooting every day preparing for the 2020 season already. Thanks again for all the info guys and gals!

I'm currently shooting radical archery designs rival and to-cons but I've shot a ton of different heads over the years.

Man those look pretty fierce as well. Have you had good luck with them. I'm definitely looking to upgrade my set up for this year.
