"to set temporary limits on the number of nonresident license/tag/permits corresponding to the number sold to date."

What do you suppose they mean by that?

I suspect they’ll cap the non resident licenses for spring bear and turkey where they’re currently at.

I think it could be for deer and elk tags also but I’m not sure if they’d do that this early or not.

Stopping non residents/closing the whole season down is a big difference.Good for them by doing the right thing a letting residents hunt/fish during these times.I wish WDFW was funded by licences sales /cause I think there tone would be a lot different towards there residents.
Hopefully everybody that has already got tags will continue to hunt.

No more purchase of NR tags, licenses, etc. until the emergency subsides.  NRs can still purchase annual license and apps for fall hunts.  Any tag/lic purchased prior to this call remain valid.

WA state and its closures were specifically cited as a big reason for ID doing this  :chuckle:

I'm really starting to think fall hunts could get screwed up if this virus follows typical influenza seasonal patterns.

Elk camp might be short a few guys this year  :o

I got mine 1st day,  bro got his a day or two later,  checking on the rest of the crew but I'm betting there's a few procrastinators this'll eliminate.

What does suck is I only bought one wolf tag, thinking if I got one I'd buy another tag later.

You can still buy your license and deer/elk tags.
