I have Leupold bx4 pro guide HD 12×50. They're great, it's a little tough free handing them being 12x. I use a tripod for any kind of extended glassing. Mine are super clear and pick up a lot of light. I was elk hunting in the snow and almost hurt to look through them at full daylight.

Just got mine in the mail a few days ago and they seem good from the backyard on the neighbors house but obviously more testing will be needed.  I plan on using them like John B said on a tripod for glassing.  My go to on my chest for the last three years has been the BX 4 pro guide HD in 10x42.  The 12x50 are more than I would want to pack around on my chest so I think they should fit my need for glassing.  Good luck in you search for glass!
