Everyone take a deep breath, step outside.  China Cold isolation is getting to some of you guys.  Being a internet medical expert I am writing at Rx for a minimum of two Busch Latte before you return to the keyboard.

Not vitamin R?

I think the main difference is that blowing a stop sign isn't a property crime.  The bird was owned by all Washington residents in common.  Taking it deprived the rest of the residents the opportunity to do so.

So, instead of running a stop sign, what if you saw someone stealing the stop sign?  Do you still feel the same way?

One thing about that.  In the NE the bird is a nuisance not an asset.  unbelievable amount of them everywhere.  Not native either.

No...good catch, but its way too early for Vitamin R on a empty stomach.  Busch Lattes are so watery they are preferred for Breakfast, and before any Church Services or parent teacher conferences held before noon.

orange peel, basil leaf and peppercorn brine for a day before cooking and they'd be cleaning house up there.  :twocents:
Just tend your own and live.

Can we back up to Claude Dallas being a Western Hero???

Start a different thread for that one, pretty please.  I have participated in a few of those over the years and they get really heated.  :)

Can you tell we are all isolated and not hunting or fishing?  :chuckle: :chuckle:

I fully understand some folks would not report this violation.  I'm fine with that.  I'm not going to tell you that you MUST report it.  Would you report a deer, elk, moose, maybe a caribou?  Sure turkeys are a dime a dozen and a nuisance in many areas.  Maybe we should no longer have a season, bag limits etc...but we do.  Would I call in other crimes that I witness, sure, I'm a retired cop, it's second nature.  I imagine all of us have a level of criminal activity that we would report, just human nature.  I feel like wanton game violations are something I will report if I have enough information.  You don't feel the same, no problem, I respect that.

I also agree with Cory, some of the comments are over the top, but this is a campfire community and guys like to express opinions.

If I were that hungry I'd just throw a white tom out there then blast any turkey that had an extra white feather

WDFW: "We heard you poached a turkey?"

No Sir!   Them are all free range domestic turkeys!  See the white feathers?

but I'm not, and I don't want to spoil the DNA by introducing a domestic, although it happens all over the place.

Klickitat had that problem many years ago when they crossbred with turkeys from a turkey farm. They also transmitted disease that basically destroyed the flock that the WDFW was trying to get started in the state. Now they are everywhere.

Be sure to send Grandma the recipe in case they get anymore birds. I think they have already eaten the evidence except for the pics.

Seems a little light on pork? Don't overheat the grinder with the turkey. Haul it down to Boise see if they can cut it up for you first.
