Books or other resources for learning about edible plants
« on: March 22, 2020, 08:54:32 AM »
Never done any foraging (except for mushrooms) before, but would like to get into picking greens and whatnot. Would appreciate any recommendations on books or field guides that are good for the local area. Or any other advice on getting into the plant foraging game?

Here is one I have.  Yesterday though I discovered an app for my phone that identifies plants.  Just open the app, take pic of the plant and that smart guy inside your phone tells you all about it.  The app is "Picture This Plant identifier.  Haven't used it much but pretty cool so far.

Awesome, thanks everyone.  Books ordered and app downloaded.  Been spending A LOT of time in the park near by house recently.  Good opportunity to learn some stuff.
