Carbon Express Triad???
« on: May 25, 2020, 08:22:18 PM »
So I am shopping new arrows and have some questions about the Carbon Express Triad arrows that are new for 2020. These are pricey but if they perform I may go this route. I currently shoot Easton Axis nFused and they are under spined for my new bow. I started out shooting CE Mayhem Hunters with my first bow and they were great, no complaints there either. I have since come to prefer micro diameter arrows however and would like to stick with those. My questions are as follows, thanks for any info provided.

Is anyone currently shooting these arrows? If so what is your opinion so far?

In a "Tri Spine" arrow (like the maxima red) do you need to take equal lengths off the front and back of the arrow when cut to size to maintain its performance? I am a short draw guy and will be cutting them down more so than others may.

Does anyone know the weight of the two part insert/outsert components to these arrows? There are reviews online but not much detailed info on this stuff. As a short draw guy I am always battling arrow weight/KE it seems.**97gr - I found this out, had to look pretty hard.

As stated, I am shooting Easton Axis nFused currently but have also shot Axis, CE Mayhem Hunter and VAP TKO Gamers (which I liked the least.) Other arrows I am considering are Easton Carbon Injexion and 6.5mm match grade. Any info is appreciated, thanks!
