I think you will find that the prices do not very much between dealerships unless it is the end of the year deals.

I have been looking at them too, but I keep leaning towards the shaft driven Honda pioneer. I have an 08 Polaris 500 wheeler that I’ve smoked a belt on plowing snow a couple times and once getting stuck in the mud. I’m not sure if they have improved or it’s better on the side by sides than my 12 year old four wheeler or not

My biggest thing is paying that much for a toy/work/hunting rig

It is literally the only reason I don't have one right now...I really want one but can't justify it.

If I did get one it would be Polaris based on my buddies luck with them. FYI they all have ones that are only a few years old, but they drive them like they stole them . Good Luck with your search, they sure are fun

Was recently shopping for a general also. We ended up not getting a general but we purchased at premier polaris in Monroe. Owner is a little off kilter but we got a good deal with no set up or delivery fees. Check polaris website for current rebates and financing options. We were gonna pay cash but they had 0% financing for 60 months so we decided to play on their dime for awhile.
Shut up and Hunt!

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. You would be smart to get the Honda, people we know with them are having good experiences. I ran into another cougar hunter this winter with 3k on his general, three different times it has had electronic problems, he said it will only go about 5-10 mph when that happens and then has to go to the shop.

I would check with Buds Power Sports in Cottonwood ID. We bought a CanAm from them, but they have a ton of Polaris too.

If you just want a work horse get the Honda. If you want comfort and fun, look at Polaris or CanAm.

Just throwing another brand out there to consider. The Yamaha wolverine lineup, X2 and X4. I have the X2 Rspec and it is a great machine. Yamaha offers a 10 year belt warranty and a huge warranty on the engine if you use their Yamalube oils in it.
