Game Managemnt Consultants in WA ?
« on: August 03, 2020, 12:47:53 PM »
Are there any game management consultants in WA State?  I've searched the internet and can't seem to find any.  Everything is East Coast or Texas and Whitetail.  Apparently Quality Deer Management (QDMA) is only for Whitetail Deer.  Frustrating.  :bash:

I think there are, but they work for WDFW.  There were some programs for farmers/landowners that involved the WDFW in eastern WA.  They may still be managing whitetails though.

Where is the property you’re looking at managing? I do a bunch of wildlife habitat improvement through forest management. Can’t help if you’re more looking for herd management/genetics stuff though.

Maybe there’s some conservation organizations that could help?

RMEF, Mule Deer Foundation or the like
