I think we need a coyote success thread similar to bear/deer/elk. So i'll get it started here.
Note: This is NOT a contest. Just sharing success stories, photos, and videos.
Here's a video of one I shot this morning. Shot is at 2:59.

I shot a couple this year. Trying out a thermal imaging scope. Shot one at 30 yards and the other at 113 yards. The thermal scope works great.

Between my daughter and myself I think we are only up to 10 or 12. Been a slow year so far. Last year we hit 40 even.

The video in my first post is number 10 for me since January of this year. In feb or April I had 3 come through in 4 days. For the past 3 or 4 months it's been pretty regular 1 per month at my place.
I haven't made the plunge to thermal.....yet.... It looks nice.

sweet. That definitely got the job done! I had a coyote in the crosshairs of my 300 winmag once. Unfortunately I didn't have a safe enough backstop and had to pass on the shot and the coyote got away.

Been there done that.
A .22 revolver did the trick on the little guy. Rolled it. In my defense I heard him coming in and was so focused on the shot when his head and chest poked up about 10 yards away in the thick reprod. Still one less future fawn killer. Good shooting D Rock.

Got this pretty boy yesterday. Missed the first time, but he came back for more, so I gave it to him.
