A few bears
« on: August 17, 2020, 01:42:17 PM »
I've got a feral apple tree at the edge of one of the fields that the bears have been checking out. The apples are just now starting to fall so the activity should pick up. We're not huge fans of bear meat so unless they start tearing things up, coming too close to the house or losing their shyness I pretty much just let them be. For the most part they're usually just bears being bears and fun to watch but I've shot two in the last five years that weren't content with a few apples and came right in to help themselves to whatever they wanted.

If you're a Nigerian Prince with an inheritance to share, please call 1-800-Mar-a-Lago now. We're getting desperate here.
