Friday night. Quartering toward type shot at about 25 yards with an incomplete pass through!. Not the guy I was after but that one disappeared from camera altogether.

Nice one, that heat was brutal and not much was moving at my place. Congrats

Thanks! And oh yea there was so little movement on my cams and just in general. If you have more time up there my bro did see the two five by fives up a but higher when he was looking for grouse.

Good to see a few bucks hitting the dirt!  Nice work fellas.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

One of my target bucks hits the ground, super stoked and yet very remorseful, I look forward to a long season, but usually wait until the end of Archery to purchase my multi season tag. But this year they sold out day one. So now the Ducks better beware.  Have a great and prosperous season.

Anya shot her first deer in 2018 at my dad's house in Walla Walla. She had opportunities last year there but no bucks and she didn't want to shoot a doe that might have a fawn. Up here in Spokane she missed a couple of shots so no deer her second year hunting. This year she was ready! 30 minutes in the blind and this fella fell to her arrow (it's good to hunt at grandpa's!)

Finally got to use the knife I made her!

VERY cool! Congrats to all!
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton
