Opening day my dad my son and i all got deer using my grandfathers rifles. Very special to have 3 generations witness each other’s kills while the fourth generation contributed the rifles.

Not much of a story to tell. 3 miles bicycling and a quarter mile of walking and there he was. Below me and going straight away. Hit him high in the neck off the shooting sticks, about a 100 yards and the season is over.
Great looking blacktail Bruce.  Do you have a cart for your bike?

Yep, I have a cabelas game cart. One drawback to it is the darn wing nuts on the bolts that go on when you unfold it for use. They are always backing off no matter how tight you get them. Lost one today. I think I am going to drill them for molly hogans.
Dr, hinted about me taking a hear stress test. I think I just did today. 3 miles in and 3 out to get the cart, 3 back in and 3 out with the deer so 12 miles plus three hills to go up on the way out. Home by 12:30.

I think I am no my 4th or 5th set of wing nuts for mine.  When we hauled Little Pathfinder's bear out of the woods this August one came off in the dark somewhere along the trail.  We replaced it with black electrical tape... :P
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Connected on my first western big game animal after moving to WA from the Midwest two years ago. Couldn't be happier (but I think I'm now a little spoiled).
