Late post.  My 2020 Late Buck Whitetail GMU 121.  80 yards from a ladder stand.  Not what I was looking for as far as rack size but freezers needed filled.

Both are nice, but that is just a classic, beautiful mature mule deer buck. Congrats!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I am pretty sure he was fairly young based on body size.  Only 90lbs hanging.  Only took him because of his poor genetics with the narrow rack.  Wanted him out of the gene pool.

4x4 velvet mulie. 62 yard uphill shot.Went 80 yards piled up in a dry creek bed in less than 2 minutes. My biggest so far  :IBCOOL:  178 lbs at the butcher prob every bit of 230 on the hoof. Kinda of a bad shot think my arrow hit some brush and deflected a bit went high left but still cut a major artery massive blood trail can't say enough about the shuttle t's.

Great

I finally got around to posting my late season archery blacktail.  After spending 5 days from dawn until dark in my elevated stand, passing on a couple small bucks and several does, this guy walked out with a doe on December 1st, right after noon and presented a nice 20 yard shot.  He sprinted 40 yards and fell over.  He was my number one target buck from all my trail cam pics although he had one more small point on his left that was broken off by the time I got my shot at him.  I couldn't be happier as this is my biggest blacktail to date.
(I can't figure out how to rotate the pics)
