My 10yo sons first deer ever from Oct 2020. He made an excellent shot with his H&R .270 single shot, hand loaded with RL15 and a 130gr Speer Hot Cor. The mount turned out excellent. Hoping to get him on a stud mulie this year.

Congrats
Stud whitey right there.
I love those hot cor.
My son shot his buck 2020 with my handloaded hot cor bullet.
Two birds in the Bush is always better than one in the hand-that way you can always go to the Bush and hunt another day .conservation=Better hunting.

Thanks, I use Speer bullets exclusively except in my .375 Ruger and .257 Wby.

Thatís a great first deer, second or any day of the week deer. Congrats to you both.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
