2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD
« on: September 28, 2020, 11:10:56 AM »
A few years back I found an absolute gem hiding in a heated garage (I was actually looking for a camper and this was attached to it). Hard to find 2500 HD 8.1 liter, with an Allison transmission, LT, leather heated power seats, and 62,452 actual miles  on it! This truck handles my 20' boat and camper with no problem, and runs down the highway going 60 while turning 2,000 RPMs. I love this truck, but with an eye towards retirement, it's just time for an upgrade. Basically new Goodyear Wrangler Ultra Terrain A/Ts, Leer Highboy canopy, 20k SuperHitch….the list goes on.

To help you out with your sale with some testimonials.

My bro has that year 2500 with the smaller v-8. Its been flawless for him with I think 150k miles. SO COMFORTABLE, rides great.

My job this summer had me in an 01 gmc 1500 with the 5.3l engine. I pretty much just drove non stop in this truck. SO COMFORTABLE, rides nice, loved it.

Just today. I have a guy painting my house that owns this truck with this engine(8.1). He loves it, but of course its a gas hog and he wished he had a Diesel but...he doesnt want to sell it but rather would like to make it his daily driver at 240k miles. This truck is SO COMFORTABLE. Rides smooth, reliable.

Im a fan of this model of full size GM truck

Thanks for the kind words, they are great trucks! So comfortable and this thing drives like a dream. Not great on gas, but but all the power you’ll ever need. Hard to find with these options and low miles, that hasn’t been abused. One look under it and you can tell it hasn’t spent any time off road.
