Mine has been 12 years but I remember it like it was yesterday.  Going to be some great memories made tomorrow for sure.

I know of one tag holder that's trying to find a bull they found earlier that's a great bull.  I'll post a pic if he harvests it.

Cow moose hunter in 121 hear. I was able to hunt 2 days but then had to go home and deal with work related crap (arrrrggggg). In 2 days. I met 2 bull hunters. I saw one bull a small/med one I would guess 24-30" and turned him over to one of the bull hunters I had met. But he was unable to connect. That was day one. One of the bull hunters, turned me onto a cow he found, but it was like a mile from the rd and down in a hole (and I am solo) and I am not going to shoot something I can't recover. It was like 80 deg out. Day 2 I saw a bear and screw it, this place is a predator pit and I should do my part, so I went after him. And I was unable to connect and I blew the morning on that, then I had to leave and come home. I am heading back as soon as I can, but it will probably be like 6-9th ish. Any pointers or advice is welcome. This isn't as easy of a hunt as some make it out to be. Feels a lot like western Wa elk hunting, but with wolves EVERYWHERE.... gulp.  I mean, 75% of the moose tracks I find have wolf tracks on top of them.

When I started the hunt, I felt really bad about cow hunting... Now I am like SCREW it, all I am doing is taking a meal from a wolf and I am happy to do that.... I wish everyone luck and hope they all connect.

My brother and I drew cow moose for Douglas - we’re out there now but struggling to even make a sighting. Just this morning my bro saw the chest of one in brush before it thundered away. We’ve been spending time around Harrier Creek, glassing from high points, walking roads, but nothing moving except bear and deer. We’re keeping at it!

Best of luck to all the other moose hunters!

Good luck all! I’m a little jealous that I’m not out there again. It’s a blast!

My buddy killed his Kettle range bull opening day. I don’t have permission to post pictures but it was a 52 inch bull.

Real easy to block out faces, trucks, scenery, etc. if he’s worried about any of that
