Nice looking cat right there. Great job!
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

Question, did he jump the string at all like a whitetail will do?  Ive wondered that, if id need to take that into account if i ever get a shot at a cat while bowhunting deer.
He didn’t jump the string at all.

Can I use your story and a pic on my website?

http://rain-shadow.com/cougar_callin_stories.htm

It would go into the accidental call in section.

Outstanding job! Earned trophy, I'd say!
You’re more than welcome to use it Steve.

Congrats, well done, and thank you for sharing the pics and story!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Nice cat and with your bow. Well done sir, well done.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.
