ughhh......

Sometimes I think WDFW undeservedly gets criticized...but this decision I find really confusing.

Digging for clams on a huge open and windy beach has to be one of the COVID safest activities people can do these days.

The frustrating part is picking winners and losers.  Clamming closed, but any other recreation open.  Go to the beach, just don't take a shovel.
 Almost all summer every beach and lake was open and packed.  Some stores closed, some open.  It should be much more consistent and across the board and they would have better compliance.  No transparency, no consistency.

I wonder if this was the county like the last time or the state.  I could accept the county making the call, but not the state.
