We hunt out of tree stands. Deer were moving from 9 to 1 so we didn't get in our stands until 8:30. At 11:30 I hear her shoot. Were about 50 yards apart and cant see each other. I yelled did you get it. She yelled I don't know but it was a monster. We had a few 5x5's on camera but nothing big and mature so i thought she was just excited and had buck fever.  She said it came at her at a very fast pace with head down from about 40 yards, she didn't have time to even get her rifle up. It stopped right under her tree and she could hear it snort and sniff but she couldn't move to look down. It finally ran about 10 yards from her tree and looked at her and ran. She pulled her rifle up and shot. I got over there and and she told showed me where he was at when she shot. No Blood at all. We followed the torn up ground for about 30 yards and no blood. She was very disappointed. we decided to follow the torn up ground another 20 yards and there he was dead. I said you were right, its a monster. Hardly any blood. After pulling out the heart in had a perfect hole right in the middle. She shot it on Tuesday the 20th and he was swelled up and looking for love. Once again she gets the bigger buck at our camp. She shot a 140 class a few years back and every other buck she has shot year after year has been bigger than everyone else deer

She's a lucky lady that's for sure! Great buck. That's my dream whitetail right there. Actually, something less than that could be my dream whitetail.
