Winchester Model1400 MK2 carrier release
« on: November 21, 2020, 08:16:43 AM »
I bought this gun for cheap awhile back and it is missing the carrier release. I am trying to find this part and it sounds like there is a normal carrier release and a long style carrier release. I can't find any info on what style I need. Does anybody know what the difference is? Thanks.

you may find a diagram (and the part) on numrich arms.  It will link you to the new site.

Best info I could find was on midwest gun works. They were offering a metal upgrade short style to replace “the original plastic” release for the 1400. They were also offering a long style at one point as well and didn’t mention anything about it ever being produced in plastic. Assuming yours was a plastic one and broke off, then it might’ve been the short style as it seems that the metal shorty was offered later on as an upgrade.
