Nice to see the smallmouth getting some recognition. They are a far superior fish in every single way, when compared to the largemouth!

Yes! I have 3 setups with my 3 favorite lurs rigged, seldom toss anything else. If I had a fourth rod, it would have a drop shot whacky rig on it.

My dad took us out fishing this morning. My son has been out before but this was my daughter's first fishing trip. My daughter caught several small fish and eventually settled into sitting in a blanket occupying my lap. My son managed to hook a 3 pound largemouth that measured 17 inches even about 30 minutes into the morning. He pulled in another largemouth that was 11 inches. We did pretty good for ourselves the whole morning and some of them transformed into fillets when we got home. I finally managed to hook a good sized one myself reeling in so we could go ashore at the end of the morning. 2 pounds for me and 15 1/4 inches. My son's is the top picture and mine is the bottom picture. And yes, my son's floatation device is under his jacket in the first picture.
I laugh in the face of Danger. Ha ha ha Danger Face!
