Ironically, what will end the current situation is when people stop paying high prices, it's dependent on the buyers as there will always be sellers at 4x prices.  There is no shortage, it's 100% panic driven.

I fully support free market and if someone will buy at those outrageous prices - well that is between the seller and buyer.

However I have been appalled to see things on this site being listed at prices 4X plus normal rates.  I like to think of this site as a local community of sorts and when someone is seemingly looking to take advantage of something at the expense of the community, I am disappointed.  I know I am making a list of folks I will never support or associate with!

Again - free market, as it should be - but that goes both ways and I won't support opportunists.

I love how well you stated this.

I also have a nice list and a naughty list.....

Man Rob you hit the nail on the headwaters! Agree 100%!  What chaps me about all of this is the gougers aren't really contributing members. They are on here for one thing and thats to make money. If it was my site I'd ban all of em  :chuckle:

Excellent  points.

Here at least it's easy....don't buy it. Folks can, and do, ask the moon on pricing. As discussed,  it's not bread or water. Save the mods time, simply don't make comments we are going to remove,  and don't buy.

Agreed on sponsor ship and we have an ongoing discussion regarding that.

Paying inflated prices is only adding fuel to the fire. Prices will come down again.

Buy low, sell high.

i was mainly joking as I understand and support free market but I definitely don't like to see it. Im never afraid to hit that report to mod button when I see trolling but admittedly I tend to look the other way when it happens to the folks wanting $100 for a brick of primers. Sorry mods  :chuckle:

  for jingles!

I kick myself for not grabbing more brass off the ground over the years!!  Loved going to the Methow range with a bucket and a flashlight the night of opening day of Hunting season :chuckle: :chuckle:

Funniest one I seen, watched a guy shoot up seven boxes of factory ammo trying to sight in his rifle one Saturday(opening day)picked up all his brass that night!

Some forums I have belonged to required "members" to have a certain number of posts before they were able to sell anything. They could buy, but selling was restricted for newbies. Not a bad idea.  :twocents:

Ironic how some feel that if you don't like price gouging you are a liberal democrat. Isn't it the liberal mindset that you should never let a good crisis go to waste?  :dunno:

rokslide does it that way. They don't play games over there either. Ryan and Robby aren't bashful about dropping the ban hammer  :chuckle:

Facts are demand is very high right now for ammo related items. Some company I believe are doing so on purpose, they can control the market ,being only a few companys make components.Been seeing prices rising even at business and some places like bi-mart and others that never seem to have it in stock haven't raised prices yet.

What we are seeing is old stock inflation ,scabs waiting buying up new stock ,and what we really need is more product for demand to go down.Primers,Powder are the problem where is it going.Cause it's not on the shelf in the form of a cartridge.
 :tinfoil:

Are government contracts for ammo taking away from us little guys ,I've seen a few powder in stock a few week ago all military powders and no slow burning powder 😒
I rather piss in the wind, then have piss down my back.
