Where’s all the lead shot for shotgun reloading? It seems like it disappeared overnight.

Yesterday Silverdale Sportsman's had a keg of Retumbo ($556) and H1000 for ($369).  Those prices were dumb due to Hodgdon price being $293.99 for both.

One of my local places has a keg of cfe223 for $400. They’ve been sitting on it for about a month because no one is going to pay that price for a $240 keg

That price is insane. Even stores are gouging customers, not just Gunbroker.

Saw this at Sportsmans today. 30-378 Wby Mag ammo.  Comes out to over $8/bullet. Wow. Had to take a photo of that.

Me to! I own a 30-378 would not be fun having to buy facotry ammo. The brass is bad enough but the reloads are much more affordable.

Fun story, every six months or so my buddy and I go on a statewide mad dash scavenger hunt stopping at every ma and pa store and gun shop  we can. We managed 17 stores yesterday and together we scored 7 lbs 4064, 4 lbs of CFE, 500 .22 Nosler varmageddons, 400 .308 eldms, some 300 Ultramag, several boxes of .30 accubonds in different weights, several sets of dies that we haven’t been able to find online, and a bunch of other random stuff. I have a pistol and rifle range at my house and shoot a lot, usually every weekend, so this was helpful. I was very encouraged by what we found on the shelves. We found SP, LP, and LR primers which we didn’t need, all kinds of bullets that have been hard to find for a while, found tons of different powders, tons of Norma and Nosler brass for calibers I don’t need but have heard are scarce (30 Nosler, 28 Nosler, 300 prc). We found more stuff on the shelves than we have in a couple years. Things I didn’t find but was hoping to was H1000, H4831sc, Retumbo, a Glock 20 slide and a .300 blackout upper in 10”.
Some places were gouging, all primers we $100-$140 a thousand. Some places had outstanding prices compared to what I find online and they earned our future business. Overall I would definitely say supply is improving.

Anybody finding 209 primers? Not interested in Wolf, RIO or Fiocchi too hard on Browning firing pins.

Brownells had 209 last week and again today.  They come and go regularly.  It is a two brick max.  I got two bricks coming this way.  Not cheap....but also not as expensive as I have seen some places.
