My son, hunting buddy and myself put in for the first time this year.  Hoping for a huckleberry draw as we know some of the area.

Hoping for first timers luck!!
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

KElly hill sure has had a high percentage of success the last few years, got to be plenty of bears in there.
There is, just make sure you're on fresh sign and not hunting areas where bears "used to be" as they might not be anymore.

I think wolves eating them outta dens, and or harassing them outta areas near dens

Figured I should climb on the bandwagon. Just put in for the Northeast area.
So now "if" I get drawn the question is when I get to the end of the driveway.
Do I turn Right or Left.   :dunno:

Left to the port of entry.  ;)   Draw barrel looks about loaded.  My chips are all on 105.   :hello:   So, if (hoping it's a big if) I don't get drawn with 3 points, how will I get 'real time' sightings out to the tag holders?   :dunno:

In with 5 points. I've been fortunate enough to tag along for spring hunts since 2017 with family and friend. My father-in-law drew back to back years. I hope to be the one behind the rifle this year.

From the day it opens till the day it closes.
Give me a tag , that's how I'm rolling.
I'm sure a few on here will answer your question better than I can.
But with the chance of it closing prematurely that's how I'm going into it. And I will be to "busy" hunting to be checking emails and such .So I probably won't hear if it closes anyway.

I like the response and that's also going to be my approach. I've seen bears in every week of the spring season here in the NE corner. My observation is that they are most active in the last month of season. That's when we've spotted most of the big boars cruising for sows. First half of the season I will be looking on the south slopes that hold the first green grass of the year.
