Fisher are a really neat animal! That’s a pretty cat too . How’s the civet trapping going this year?

It has been such a problem with shipping them this year I pulled my sets. I have caught something around the mid forties. I might put some more sets out. I'm missing trapping them. No big days on them this year. This was probably my high point.

Good to see them making a comeback.  I used to see them along the Tanawax Creek in Pierce County in the 70's. There was a blowdown of cedars in the gulch left over by the Columbus Day Storm that was a real nest of porcupines. Those hollow cedars made great winter habitat for them, and the fishers were fond of porcupines.
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.

Last year spotted one about a mile from there between tanawax and ohop, they are still in the area. No porky's around that I have seen though, wish there was they are some tasty!
