Any leads on remington 700 supercell recoil pad?
« on: March 01, 2021, 09:14:45 PM »
Looking to replace my old recoil pad. Previous owner had some glue or tape on the end and now it's all gummy.

I could have sworn I used to see them all the time, now everywhere online says discontinued or out of stock. Even found one in Canada.

If you have an extra I'll buy it off you and if you find one and are local I can throw in a sleeve of small pistol primers.

Local to Fort lewis.

And thanks in advance.

Remington parts are going to be hard to come by until they get back up and running after the lawsuit and bankruptcy restructuring of I recall correctly.

You're right I forgot about that. What a shame it's become.

I got a stock off a site that came with the pad for 30$ for my SA

But found just the pad on eBay for 60$.

Guess I'll have a spare LA stock now for 30$

Does it have to be Remington? The possibility of getting a Limbsaver pad and it working out is in your favor.

I guess not. I like the supercells and like the factory look of it. Have heard limbsavers get a bit gummy too. I'll check em out

I get what you're saying. I had to do it for one of the shotguns because there is no other readily available option.
