I thought I'd ask on here in case someone has a tip on who might be a good shop to order from. I'm looking to order a Browning X-bolt Hell's Canyon speed in 270 Win. I've talked to several local dealers( Southwest WA) and they really don't know when/if they'll be able to get one. There are two types of camo they use for the stock A-tacs AU and A-tacs TDX. I'd prefer the TDX, but I've yet to actually find it in any caliber. It looks like they become available on Cabela's website occasionally, but they don't even list the camo pattern I'm seeking.
I know many guns are tough to come by now. What I'm not sure of is if that pattern just isn't as common. If anyone has seen one in a shop please let me know. Thanks

I’ll keep an eye out on Sportsmans Hillsboro they’ve been getting quite a few hells canyons in, but .270 is kinda a rare bird anymore.   6.5 CM, 300 WSM/7mm, 300 PRC seem to cover the spectrum now from small - med - large.

There are some in gunbrokers but not in the camo you want.

Thanks, yeah that seems to be my thing "vintage". 6.5 probably would be fine since it has a 22" barrel, which is really what I'm after, I have a Magnum with a 26" barrel and looking for a more compact, somewhat light rifle

thank you, I've been checking there once in awhile. I'll be fine if it takes awhile.

I went through the same search for about a month before I found one in 7mm-08. Finally found it at Grice Gun Shop in Pennsylvania. Bought it and had it shipped to a local FFL. I just searched the internet daily until I found it. Same experience, I could find 6.5 creedmoors easily but that’s the popular caliber these days. At the time I put myself on every email list I could find to notify me when it came in stock. Still haven’t received any emails so you could be in for an extended search. Good luck!

These guys are showing it in stock and will ship to your ffl. No experience with them personally

you may be in the same boat I was when I waited for a 10 gauge.  It came in two months late.  My bet would be the HC Speed is behind schedule from overseas.  There's none in the SW system.  Might be some at some remote store but none that could be ordered.

I think you’re probably right. Especially the camo pattern I’m after which was added in 2020. Fortunately this is a want and not a need so I’ll be patient and keep watching

We will have pretty similar guns! Can’t help with locating yours, I ordered my vanguard from weatherby and went 270. It’s like shooting a 22 with the break on it, it’s amazing and is a tack driver. Hope you find one soon
They is where you aint and you aint where they is.
