So at this point he's not upholding his oath to protect the constitution.   Isn't that impeachable?

How so?
I mean specifically “at this point”. Because “at this point” he hasn’t done squat. What’s he going to do? We don’t know. Is changing background checks impacting our 2A rights?
Just wondering. Politicians have been “coming for our guns” for decades.

Joe Biden loves to preach to us how he made assault weapons and high-capacity magazines illegal in 1994, and he intends to do so again.  Truth is, "assault weapons" and high capacity (over 10 round) magazines were NOT made illegal in 1994.

The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 made some "assault weapons" illegal to own, but not all of them by any means.  What it did do was make the manufacture of new ones (and magazines) illegal, but existing ones were grandfathered.  You could walk into any decent sized gun store and find both.  There were tables at the WAC gun shows stacked high with magazines which held over 10 rounds.

Joe Biden either has dementia and cannot remember what he did, or he is an outright liar.  I, personally, think both are true.

It will be interesting to see what he attempts to do with his new executive orders.

Yes and they have learned since then.

He wants to make them all Class 3 with no grandfathering.

Once he actually does something besides stumble through a canned press conference, however you must also admit that the rules for the average citizen do not apply for the members of communist democrat party elite

This.  Lets stop the ghost gun .
I've seen several places that sell 80% products are already ready for this crap and have started selling complete products with serial number and everything. So his big plan of putting it out of business will back fire. And we will just have more products that can be bought through the regular gun buying process.

I haven't bought a gun since washington started making us register through the sheriff department.

A nomination and asking for proposed rules regarding 80% receivers and braces.

When should I expect them to kick in my door?

I really don't think they are kicking in any doors .
They just want to hurt manufacturers.
But who knows.

I don't see anybody claiming they're going to be knocking doors down.
That's not the point.

The point is just a few more paper cuts in their "Death by a thousand paper cuts" strategy.
The are slowly winning.

So the title to this thread might be a little misleading? Say it isn’t so.

I'd say they are coming for our guns, one small paper cut at a time.

Many libs in power are on the record of wanting to ban/confiscate many weapons such as AR-14's (Beto, our new gun Czar).
They just have figured out that they can't get immediate bans so they are playing the long game.
The end goal for them, in their own words, would result in banning semiauto's and high cap magazines.

At least that's my opinion.
