Cabo san lucas fishing
« on: April 02, 2021, 06:48:48 PM »
Hey fellas, headed to cabo sometime this next winter, November to February.   I want to get out and do some fishing.  I'd love to do 2 days with one being deep sea and the other closer to shore for roosters or something else.  Has anyone been down there and have a reccomendation for charters?

Thanks

Was down there last August and fished 2 days with Pisces.  It was awesome and they were great. We caught a Blue and a Striped marlin and a bunch of Yellowfin tuna and one tiny Dorado.

Check out renegade mike charters. Been with him a few times.  Top notch charter where you'll.get an honest fishing trip rather.than just a boat ride. Lots of reasonably.priced pangas that  can give you a good inshore trip. If you.book with Mike ask him for a recomendation for an inshore trip.

Been to this place twice. 40 ish miles north of Cabo. This is the calendar they post for their fishing trips.

My wife and I have fished with Pisces a couple of times, and I highly recommend them.

So we were gonna go with Mike.  Paid him deposit, then he canceled and said he didn't have money to refund deposit.  Was only a couple hundred bucks but not a good way to do business

Sorry to hear that. I'd heard the pandemic was really hard on his business, down there last September and he was dry docked for lack of charters. Went out with a boat he recommended and did ok but we were looking exclusively for yellow fins which were being a bit finicky. Dorado and marlin charters were doing very good.

I have a great contact for inshore fishing if you want to PM me. I have been out with him 3 times and sent many people to fish with him and have had nothing but great comments.

I fished with capt. Sharluko on the sea boy yesterday.  We worked for fish but caught a huge sheepshead (super tasty!),  Yellowtail, several bonita, amberjack and had a couple big hookups that we just couldn't land.  I wish I knew what they were.

I would recommend him, his English is good and he will work hard for you to catch fish.

Good luck!

If you want his phone number or contact info pm me here and I can give it to you

I lived there for 8 months and have made a bunch of trips since then. There are only a few I would go out with if fishing..
Pangas: Hands down Jamie with Jessica sport fishing. Highly recommend
If he isn't available then Victor Santi of Santi sport fishing is pretty good but its been a while so not sure if he is still in business

Renegade Mike if you are looking for a little bit bigger boat.
