I drew big game combo but the ol’ball and chain didn’t. I put us in separate hoping that would give us a better chance at drawing, don’t know if that was the right thing to do or not. This will be my first Montana hunt.
$5 is a lot of money if you ain't got it

We drew ellk/deer combo as a part, no pref points.  Be our third trip to MT.

I didn’t know what to do  :chuckle: . He got a rifle big bull elk in Washington AND Montana back in 2016, so I think he used up all his luckyness, it’s my turn now  ;)

We haven't hunted elk before in MT...need to figure out if we'll do archery in addition to rifle.  For sure do rifle deer mid nov and maybe try to do rifle elk as well.  Guess that depends on where we hunt, which we don't know yet.  Went to broadus area last time and ran into WA plates everywhere.

well 33 years going to mt. 3rd time not drawn deer and elk combo. was hoping the max bonus points would have helped some how
