Anybody in Chehalis want some oysters?
« on: April 28, 2021, 12:53:26 PM »
Just got back from a weekend with my cousin and have a couple dozen fresh, in shell oysters.
Free if I can meet you in/around Chehalis.

Maybe he picked up a 10# bag of commercial oysters and couldn't eat them all.
Or maybe they are from a private beach, which has a different RCW governing what can be taken and by whom, and do not need to be shelled.
Why must we jump to negative conclusions at each other?!

I asked a question in hopes of protecting him if he didn't know. I wasn't jumping to any conclusions. Relax

They have been claimed.
.
And just to clarify, I know the regs.
.
.
These oysters were harvested by a native and brought to our camp on private property on reservation land.
We just had more than we needed, and instead of letting them go to waste, I brought them home.

Yes Dan-O thank you

I may have worded my post poorly I wasn't trying to be a jerk.

My wife was sad we weren't closer. She loves those nasty things.

I pretty much new they would not be wasted.
Just figured here was a better place than FB.
.
But when I smoked a pork butt, had kielbasa and beans, plus everyone else brought a side, when these showed up we were pretty full already..
