You guys must have never hunted 45 in early October?    :chuckle:
I wish I would get the chance…I go back and forth between that hunt and another hunt every other year…havent drawn either of them. I have a friend who has drawn the tag several times…needless to say thats why I put in for it.

I’ve done it twice.  It can be an ass kicker compared to late Oct.

So I now have two official reasons not to like you…you have drawn both tags that I apply for and I havent drawn either of them in years of trying…good job to you! Send me some of your good luck please…

It was a different deal 10 years ago.   You could almost count on drawing.  More tags and more options.

Ive drawn 11 elk tags in various states over the years but not one mule deer tag…this year I didnt apply for any elk tags in the hopes of a premium muley tag. Maybe this year will be the year it happens!

I don't even think the super tags have been drawn. They listed on the website winners would be announced by June 10, it's now mid June. I donated a few $ to get some and still showing up as eligible in my account too.

What was the sheep draw debacle this year?

This is what the IDFG says for Super tags.
Deadlines and Drawings
Idaho Super Hunt has two drawings.

First Drawing:
Deadline for entries is May 31st.
Eight elk, eight deer, eight pronghorn and one moose will be drawn.
One Super Hunt Combo will also be drawn. This winner is entitled to hunt all four species.
Winners will be notified in mid-June. An announcement will be made once they are contacted.

Thanks Karl....oh man! I couldn't imagine the emotional roller coaster of that.

Reading back on my post, I didn't word that well. I meant on their website it said mid-June now, they had changed it from June 10th I believe.

They can't even do a simple lottery draw on time.

Shaniqua told me that they were having issues with the super tag draw and it has been delayed. Also delayed the regular draw. Hopefully next week we get both results.  :dunno:

I think the delay in the super hunt results is due to them possibly losing my phone number so they can call me and congratulate me on winning. I'll email them and get it cleared up  :chuckle:

I was thinking more that they couldn't believe they pulled my name for all 8 deer tags :IBCOOL:

If Idaho drew on this same day last year then they should certainly be able to do it again this year. It will be disappointing if they don't.
