I was 430  :chuckle: talk about nerve racking. Every elk tag was showing sold out EXCEPT the one I was after all the way till I got in but showed sold out at selection 😪 dark times when Karl is trying to buy an elk tag  :chuckle:
Karl are you feeling ok? :chuckle: oh well looks like some mature bucks will be saved this year if you’re not hunting them!
No I'm not! I had to scale back everything this year due to a dumb mountain goat hunt and now I'm a no tag havin loser! A desperate man at the end of his rope. A washed up shell of his former self. Hustlin the back alleys of every state trying to score a little hit of a tag for a week in September I took for an antelope hunt I didn't draw!
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

The Great Wyoming Antelope Apocalypse of 2021.

We have been intending on the .75 DH Crew goat trip since 2015!
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Jon handed off his no tag havin loser status to us than proceeded to draw every tag in North America. Pretty rude if you ask me  :chuckle:

apparently they have REALLY small mule deer there too so I'll shoot some of them too. I believe they are called "blacktails". Blacktail deer sound lame to me  :peep:

I see. I’m sure you can get a tag they are plentiful in September! It seems like most guys like to hunt elk in September and deer in November. Lately I prefer the exact opposite  :chuckle:

End of days for sure. Paying the price for smack talking elk hunters all these years…

Checked with Idaho Fish and Game; here's what I got back. Doesn't look like we'll be seeing the results for a bit.

"Good Morning and thank you for contacting the Idaho Dept of Fish and Game.

We are currently working on the Deer, Elk and Pronghorn Controlled Hunt Draw and will have the results posted no later than July 10th. You can view the status of your Controlled Hunt Applications by logging in to your profile at https://license.gooutdoorsidaho.com<https://license.gooutdoorsidaho.com/>

Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

Thank you!
