Congrats, I would agree, the Idaho Bull tag my 12 year old drew last year was probably my most satisfying hunt ever and I feel like I have been blessed to go on some pretty awesome hunts.  Nothing quite like being with your child when they take a great animal or just being with them on a quality hunt with low hunter numbers.

I hope she shoots an incredible buck, best of luck!

After having the hunter education incentive tag last year in the entiat I decided to put in as a team with my 19 year old daughter for late season entiat archery and we drew.

She is in college, has a boyfriend and I am just not sure how many more hunts we will be able to do together.  Really looking forward to this hunt.

Looking forward to a great hunt.  No matter what she is shooting first until she tags out.  I will eat my tag if it means she gets more opportunities.  It's all about the kids.

What a good dad. I'd be like psst, there's cool lizard on the ground that's camouflaged--as I draw bow and take the deer. I seem to remember several pictures of you with your daughter taking some nice bucks. You'll have some great pictures to share for this one I'm sure. Best of luck!

Since I was just in entiat last year and killed a nice buck I actually thought about trying to return my tag and just letting her hunt.  I may still do that and see if they will let me.

You know if I did I would see the biggest deer of my life right after she shoots hers.  :chuckle:

Her first archery buck at 13 and her first elk that same year.
