WTB Browning X-Bolt Hells Canyon
« on: June 11, 2021, 08:53:16 AM »
Looking to see if anyone has a browning x-bolt hells canyon they are interested in selling before I buy one brand new.  Specifically interested in the Hells Canyon Speed in .270, but might entertain a different style or caliber.  Thanks.

I donít have one to sell, but recently bought that exact rifle. I had difficulty locating one, but eventually was able to order online from cabelas and have it shipped to the store. Good luck in your search

I second that you are making a good choice. I bought one in .300 WSM for my son and one in .270 WSM for myself. Both through Sportsmans and both had to be shipped in from another store in another state but it was only a matter of a few days. Good luck with your search and when you find what you're looking for I hope you can find ammo for it.

I was concerned about this and started looking for ammo before I actually received the rifle. Oddly enough 270 win is one that Iíve had good luck finding

I just bought a hells canyon LR in 7mm mag. Havenít got to shoot it yet, but I sure do love it. Putting a VX-3HD 4.5-14 burnt bronze finish on top of it. If you do go new, the Sportco in fife usually has a large selection.

I'm with Trophyhunt.  That will be my last and only hunting rifle I buy (or really need, OK maybe).  I blame Jrebel for dangling his .270 in front of my face (which I bought) for not owning one yet.

Just buy one.  A couple of my buddies are HC junkies now.  I've seen some amazing performance.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

Go with standard speed or pay $800 more for mcmillan stock and heavy sporter barrel which weighs almost a pound more?   Seems like the standard speed is the way to go never mind the $800 savings?

I have 2 in 28 nosler topped with Nightforce NX8 scopes. Best round I have shot in years. I shoot a 195 grain berger just shy of 3200fps. Hit a 24x36 steel at 1 mile. Easiest guns I have ever sighted or done load development for. It is the hells canyon McMillan model. Great to carry. All I did was put a timney trigger in it. Great gun for the money. You cannot build one for the price they sell for.

I have a Browning xbolt composite stalker in .270 win mag, cerakote tan barrel, topped with a 4-16x44 Vortex Viper HST. Also have about a 8 boxes of ammo. Gun has a few blemishes from normal wear. I have yet to find a round that wont shoot a sub MOA group out of this gun. The only reason I would consider is because I also Have a 7mm rem mag that I use way more and this gun just sits now. Let me know if interested and send me a message. I will make a fair deal

I have this exact rifle minus the cerakote barrel in 7mm Rem mag. I absolutely love it. It has been my all around go to rifle for the past couple seasons.

I bought the 270wsm last year and it's pretty awesome.  My 13 year old daughter was singing steel at 400 yards with it over the weekend.
