Columbia river fishing below John Day dam
« on: June 17, 2021, 06:26:27 PM »
I'm headed to Maryhill for vacation this weekend and thought about doing some fishing too. I'll be fishing from the bank, what species should I target and what works well as far as lure selection? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Shad are running strong
Bass are plentiful along the bank too.
Typical gear for both.

Go slay some shad just a quick trip up the road and the numbers are getting way up there.
