Tapatalk community boards
« on: July 29, 2021, 12:37:04 PM »
Anyone know how to view the community boards on Tapatalk?  I can't see the virtual campfire, politics or non hunting topics boards.  Even when I go to the forums section those three just don't show up.

With the software upgrade a few minutes ago you may have to subscribe to those boards again here in your profile:

It sill shows up on my desktop and on the brave browser on my phone, just not in Tapatalk...  I did check the subscriptions page you referenced and it is all good there on my profile.  I just figured it was something with Tapatalk and maybe there was a setting or workaround

I can't even get on the forum via Tapatalk right now. I could earlier today.

Tapatalk is not affiliated with the forum other than hosting it on their app, so we don't have any control over it and viceversa. There might be some sort of interface issue between us and them.

We will try installing an update for tapatalk, but an FYI for everyone is that tapatalk is slowly disappearing. That's one of the reasons I've been trying to find a good mobile theme, but I am told the next version of SMF that we upgrade to hopefully this fall/winter will be mobile friendly, tapatalk should not be needed.

I always wonder about this. There are lots of forums that are on Tapatalk that work fine and are supported. Maybe Tapatalk and SMF don't get along or something.

Check your tapatalk now, we did an upgrade to it.

Please see if tapatalk works better now? We are on a newer version now.

It works, which is more than a couple hours ago. Seems to work totally normally for me. The search function still doesn't work, but that's normal.
The search function works on the Rokslide forum which I also view through Tapatalk on my phone, but it's different software.
