Which job site radio for E-caller app?
« on: August 03, 2021, 08:27:29 AM »
Hey,

I’ve got the Ultimate predator calling app and I’m looking for a good job site radio with decent range for the Bluetooth that’s also loud enough. I tried a half hour set the other day with a little iHome Bluetooth speaker but it’s rather quiet. I don’t have plans to invest in a FoxPro at this time.

Thanks!

Drew

I bought a dewalt job radio last year & it’s a piece of crap. I’d recommend anything else.

If you can't afford a FoxPro or other brand professional caller I personally would go with a hand call. I have tried cheap callers and alternative electronic callers with zero success.
The $200 plus callers work but even at that hand callers seem to work best due to over use of electronics.

Primos Alpha Dog is awesome!!! Way cheaper than a fox pro.  Has everything you need loaded, or you can download more sounds.

I have two and they have killed a a couple hundred coyotes in 5 years or so.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

I do have a Bearmanric hand call that’s tuned raspy. I like the idea of not being attached to the noise being created though. Haha.  I’ll have to give that a shot some more this season.

At night and in grizzly country I use an electronic caller eclusively. Other than that boredom will kill you before anything you call in. lol
