Is somebody else doing it?
I'm curious....how many pounds of meat are you getting off that buck.
It's a huge buck. I assume at or over 100lbs of meat.

Yes doing it myself. I tend to get less than the butchers do to the amount of trimming I do . But I'll let you know

This is my first decent buck. Caught him sneaking in the oaks while I was sitting. The shot was 75 yards and I recovered the bullet which mushroomed beautifully. Second to last day of modern general and I could hear my empty freezer humming. He smells rutty and I must have caught him cruising. 5x3 with eye guards benchleg for sure

Went out happy to harvest a doe, came back with my first buck!

I know of at least 2 dandy bucks in the area I will be targeting for next year.
